Według najnowszych informacji DVD This Is It + Blue Ray miało by być wydane w 2010 roku za pośrednictwem firm Sony/Disney/Universal.
DVD planowano wydać na święta Bożego Narodzenia jednak ostatecznie zdecydowano sie na przyszły rok.
Universal będzie dystrybutorem w całej Europie natomiast Sony W Wielkiej Brytanii, USA i pozostałej części świata.
DVD będzie zawierać wiele innych materiałów niż sam film, który zostanie przedstawiony w kinach oraz wiele dodatków i sekwencji 3D niektórych scen które będą powiązane z okularami do oglądania w formacie 3D

"Próby" nie od razu oznacza Michaela- to raz. Nie wszystkie próby odbywały się z jego udziałem. Dwa- spodziewając się brak serca i rozumu do twórczości Michaela u ludzi kierujących $ony, nie spodziewałbym się za dużo.

poza MJPF nie widziałam nigdzie info, żeby wydanie dvd miało być przesunięte.
Dziś znajomy zalinkował mi artykuł o TTI - generalnie o wszystkim: o materiale, o MJu w czasie prób, o tym, że filmowano nie tylko próby, ale też jak MJ snuł swoje wizje, jak to wyglądać powinno, no i co się później działo - o sprzedaży, $$$..., wypowiedzi
Jest też opis tego, jak to miało wyglądać w trakcie koncertów (ale, że nie wiem, co zobaczymy w filmie i ktoś może sobie spoilerów nie życzy, nie tłumaczę)

Michael Jackson This Is It DVD Full Of Bonus Material
When the Michael Jackson movie `This Is It` is released on DVD it will feature at lot of bonus material not featured in the film.
‘This Is It’ will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on January 26, 2010.
Additional footage includes the complete and uncut versions of ‘Smooth Criminal’ and ‘Thriller’ and a ‘Making of Smooth Criminal’ featurette.
Also included will be two documentaries ‘Staging the Return: Beyond The Show’ and ‘Staging The Return: The Adventure Begins’ showing Michael developing the show concept.

Dzowniłem dziś do Imperial Cinepix, który będzie zajmował się dystrybucją TII w Polsce na DVD i Bluray.
Oto jakie informacje udało mi się od nich uzyskać:
Premiera: 16 luty 2009
Wydanie 1DVD (29,99zł);
Wydanie 2DVD Limitowane (w dwóch wersjach kolorystycznych, poza tym ma też różnić się trochę zawartościa) (49,99zł);
Wydanie 1 Bluray (89,99zł);
Zawartości płyt już nie udało mi się ustalić niestety. Jeśli chodzi o to wydanie limitowane dwu-dyskowe DVD, będzie ono dostępne dla dwóch sieciach handlowych wyłącznie (ponoć Empik i MM).
Ceny przyzwoite, zapowiada się ciekawie ...

Michael Jackson's This Is It wins Special Achievement Award by African-American Film Critics Assn.
Michael Jackson who set records this year with a hit documentary and companion album, as well as selling millions of his albums, has been awared for the documentary focused on the final days of his life, This Is It. The African-American Film Critics Association awarded Michael Jackson a special achievement award.
According to the LA Times, This Is It, was also among the association's top 10 films of 2009. "Besides “Precious,” the organization’s list of top 10 films are “The Princess and the Frog,” “Up in the Air,” “The Hurt Locker,” “This Is It,” “American Violet,” “Goodbye Solo,” “Medicine for Melancholy,” “Good Hair” and “Up.”
Congratulations to MJ and all those involved in bringing This Is It to life. MJ will be missed, but his legacy will live forever.
In other MJ news, the King of Pop will be awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2010 Grammy Awards. It will be MJ's 14th Grammy, and according to reports, This Is It will be eligible for nomination in 2011.
