Exciting news for U.K. based fans, Michael Jackson will be in London next month to attend the World Music Awards.

On November 15th, Michael will receive the Diamond Award, only given to artists who have sold over 100 million albums. The ceremony is taking place at Earl's Court Arena.

"The presence of Michael Jackson is very exciting for us," Melissa Corken, founder of the awards, told the Associated Press. The annual event is most famous for taking place in Monaco before it moved to America in 2004 and 2005. "We are thrilled to be bringing the World Music Awards to London, the music capital of the world."

As well as the presentation of Michael's award there will be performances from Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Katie Melua and Andrea Bocelli. Actress Lindsay Lohan is said to be hosting.

This year London has the honour of hosting this spectacular extravaganza in its 18th year. In the UK, C4 will broadcast the special on Wednesday, November 22nd.



International celebrities from the world of film, fashion, TV and sports will present the awards to the recording-artists who will perform live before an audience of stars, the world’s media and thousands of music fans.



Lindsay Lohan will host the show hot from her recent success as MC of Saturday Night Live on the NBC network; performing artists include Beyonce who will be opening the show with a scintillating performance of DeJa Vu. Mary J Blige will be receiving a legend award for her Outstanding Contribution to R & B Music and will be performing a medley of her greatest hits. The latest R & B sensation Rihanna will be performing S.O.S. The "Unbreakable" Fanclub Alliance is pleased to announce that we're organizing the “MJWMA Fan Party” for the day of the World Music Awards, the 15th November, 2 weeks time, in London.

This event will serve as a great meeting place for plans to chill out, dance to Michael, and get
themselves hyped to see the King of Pop at the World Music Awards, later on.

All information in this announcement should be considered preliminary, and we hope to release
final details within the next few days, including the name of the venue, and all other necessary
information.

The party will begin at around 12-noon, ending at around 5pm, so that everyone can head down to
the WMA's – and will be there for everyone to get back to, for an after party! Tickets should cost

According to USA Today, Michael Jackson will perform live when accepting the Diamond Award at the 2006 World Music Awards. They write that Jackson's costume will be designed by Roberto Cavalli, who supposedly visited Jackson monday.

Jak donosi informator "The Daily Star" tancerze mający uczestniczyć w ceremonii otrzymali już DVD z teledyskiem do "Thrillera", by zdążyli przypomnieć sobie kroki.
